T'was the day of thanksgiving
Everyone was busy in my house
Nobody was on dA
So I laid down on the couch
I pondered why people
Aren't thankful for what they have
And, instead of talking with family,
They go black-Friday-shopping and get Glad
Instead of feasting on turkey
And sharing family jokes,
People go out to Best Buy
To check the price on that new coat.
"Look, now it's one-eighty!"
Screams a mother of three,
As she rushes with her children
To get that cheap Christmas tree.
"Is that the new Xbox?"
Exclaims a teenager,
As his sister buys a "SWAG" shirt,
To show them dumb haterz.
"Check the price on those shoes!"
Screams another adolescent,
Her friend buys a Justin Bieber CD
As a cheap Christmas present.
Meanwhile, fathers come shuffling
Dragged along buy their wives
To look at cheap clothes,
But have to run for their lives,
Because mobs and mobs
Of people who'll shout,
"SALES!!!", but don't know
What Thanksgiving's really all about.

Hi all,
Not sure if anybody I used to talk to regularly still uses this site, but I'm deciding to attempt a return and to re-vamp my profile. Even though it was a trip down the cringe vortex organizing my gallery, I found it interesting to see the different artistic phases I went through, the different interests I gained, etc. I didn't want to start with a new account devoid of all my old art; though cringeworthy, I feel like it's important to see where I've come from. Or something along those lines.
And I've recently acquired the ninja llama, so, duh, I'm not going to get rid of that. ;)

School ended for me a week ago and as for accomplishments so far I've watched two seasons of Orange is the New Black and doodled a crappy unicorn girl ~papcryplz (https://www.deviantart.com/papcryplz)
So I'd like to start uploading here more (what's new lol), and I've done a ton of sketches over the course of this school year in my homework book, so I'm planning on compiling all those into a big sketch dump or something :shrug:
I have summer work for my art class this coming school year, which consists of doing sketches, a finished work (subject matter/medium all your choice), and other things.

Merry Christmas!!! Hope you've all had a great one ^_^ I know I haven't been active on here like at all lately, just uploading a drawing here and there and then never checking back on it or replying to anything, lol.
However, I have vacation now, so I'll try to be at least a bit more active.
Also, lately I've been uploading a lot of sketches and stuff to my tumblr, so don't forget, I upload lots of art + photography that doesn't usually get seen here, too ;) Just look under the tag "my art" for... well, my art, and "my dolls" for doll stuff + occasional photography that's too ghetto for here with millions of filters + edits.
